New boats roam London's River Thames

From Wednesday's Globe and Mail

London now offers a practical addition to the city's Underground and red-bus networks for sightseers. Two new boat services have been launched by Thames Clippers and there is a new "hop-on, hop-off" ticket called the River Roamer.

Both the Sun Clipper and Moon Clipper are high-speed catamarans. The first provides a fast service from the Thames Gateway (Woolwich and Greenwich Piers) to central London, and the second offers a link between the London Eye, pictured above, and Tower of London. The new services complement the "Tate to Tate" boat that links the Tate Modern and Tate Britain art galleries.
