TV DINNER

Calling all British Game of Thrones fans: Prepare yourself for the dining experience of a lifetime.

As detailed in The Hollywood Reporter, HBO has joined forces with the esteemed British catering service The Wandering Chef to devise a GoT-themed pop-up restaurant for a limited time.

According to HBO, the exclusive "All Men Must Dine" banquets are scheduled to take place at the swanky Andaz hotel in downtown London Feb. 13-15.

HBO is mounting the culinary extravaganza to promote the release of the show's fourth season on DVD and Blu-ray on Feb. 17.

Fans of the medieval-themed fantasy series can enter a contest to attend the event on the HBO website. Eligibility is restricted to full-time British residents.

And what manner of splendid repast should the 12 lucky winners (plus one guest apiece) expect when they arrive at the banquet-style feast?

The HBO release states that "throughout the evening, guests will sample the finest delicacies Westeros has to offer over multiple courses, accompanied by a carefully selected drinks menu of cocktails fit for a king."

Although the specific menu items are being kept under close wraps, HBO said one of the dishes would be titled "The Lies of Tyrion Lannister and his Proclaimed Innocence," which in fact will be poached veal tongue served with beetroot, horseradish and "Oldtown Mustard."

Game of Thrones returns for its fifth season on HBO and HBO Canada on April 12.

LAYING BLAME

Rosie Perez believes the recent Lifetime biopic on Whitney Houston is the reason behind the near-death condition of the late singer's daughter Bobbi Kristina. On Tuesday's edition of The View, Perez said, "This unauthorized bio of her mom must have killed her." Perez immediately realized the inappropriate phrasing of her words and went on to say, "That was terrible phrasing. It must have hurt her deeply to watch that. We forget these people are human beings. We put them into tabloids and we forget they're human beings." The comment came three days after the 21-year-old was discovered unconscious in a bathtub at her Atlanta residence, only weeks shy of the three-year anniversary of her mother's death in a bathtub in a Beverly Hills hotel.
