How big is this weekend's wedding between reality star Kim Kardashian and rapper Kanye West?
The Italian army has been called in to provide security.
The Daily Mail cites sources claiming that non-uniformed Italian militia have been recruited to provide security for the couple's wedding slated to take place Saturday at the Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy. Guests will be flown from Paris to Italy for the affair.
Contrary to the couple's earlier suggestion that the wedding will be an "intimate affair," the guest list is reportedly topping 3,000 people.
As to how the big day will unfold, arrivals are expected to start on Saturday at around 2 p.m., with fellow rapper Jay Z predicted to serve as West's best man, reports the Daily Mail, and singer Lana Del Rey performing.
According to reports, preparations at the venue have been frantic in recent days with technicians scrambling to install sound systems at the historical site.
And what about the honeymoon? The Daily Mail also claims Kardashian and West will depart Florence on Sunday and head to a villa six miles out of town called Corsini Villa of Costello.
On Friday, Kardashian and West will reportedly play host to their guests at a pre-wedding brunch at the Château de Wideville, located west of Paris and currently the home of fashion designer Valentino Garavani, who the Daily Mail says is "absolutely thrilled" to welcome the wedding party.
On Thursday night, Kardashian reportedly held a bachelorette shower with friends at the Eiffel Tower in Paris and ordered 15 bottles of champagne for the soiree.
Kardashian posted a photo on Instagram of her and friends posing in front of the famous French landmark with with caption, "Night out in Paireeeee."
In other news, Kardashian and West seem to be holding fast to their insistence that they will not sell their wedding pictures, despite multiple offers, reports the New York Daily News.
A source recently told New York Daily News: "Kim wants to handle the wedding with Kanye [West] in a more private manner. There is huge interest in the wedding and in her dresses, and she's the most famous girl in the world. She understands publicity."
