BIG NUMBERS
The season-four premiere of Game of Thrones was HBO's highest-rated program since the series finale of The Sopranos. An estimated 6.6-million U.S. viewers tuned into the GoT return on Sunday night, which marks an increase of more than two-million viewers over the season-three premiere. Here in Canada, the GoT season-opener was the most-watched premiere in HBO Canada history with more than 1.1-million viewers, an increase of 31 per cent compared to the season-three debut.

University student/porn star Belle Knox will host a new reality Web series. The 19-year-old student will host The Sex Factor, which will feature a panel of established adult film industry stars judging 16 aspiring porn stars (eight men and eight women) competing for a $1-million (U.S.) grand prize and "porn stardom." The winner will be determined by viewer voting and a series of porn-related challenges. Knox made headlines last fall when it was revealed that she was an active participant in the porn industry while simultaneously attending classes at Duke University. The Sex Factor is scheduled to debut online next month.

WORKING FOR SCALE
Kirstie Alley will resume her spokesperson role with Jenny Craig. The 63-year-old actress has inked a new deal with the weight-loss company that helped her lose 75 pounds following her becoming spokesperson for the company from 2004 to 2007. In the new TV ad, Alley says, "I'm not, like, circus fat, I just want to lose 20 pounds." The new arrangement will also include Alley promoting her own line of wellness products called Organic Liaison through Jenny Craig.

Jerry Lewis' daughter has written a new book on her father. Titled Jerry Lewis, My Father – Is Always in My Mirror, the autobiographical tome by Suzan Lewis reportedly documents her efforts to reconnect with her famous father, with whom she's been estranged since 2009. According to her version of events, her fashion model mother, Lynn Dixon, met Lewis in the early fifties at a time when both were married to other people. She also claims that she and Lewis's son Gary underwent DNA tests at a Boston paternity lab that showed she was "an 88-per-cent match." The book is expected to hit shelves later this year.

BOLDLY GOING
Take heart, nerds: There really will be a Battlestar Galactica movie. Universal has announced plans for a film version of the sci-fi TV series that first aired from 1978 to 1979 and was later resurrected for a second series from 2004 to 2009. The new film will reportedly use the TV series as a framework, but will take the futuristic story of humans living on other planets known as the Twelve Colonies and battling the Cylons into a new direction. No time frame has been set for the movie's release.

LIP SERVICE
It's true: Rascal Flatts really did lip-synch their performance at the Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday night. The group admitted to TMZ that lead singer Gary Levox lost his voice last week after performing several shows. When the time came for the group to perform their hit Rewind at the ACM awards in Las Vegas, they decided to go with the pretaped version, which was immediately picked up on by viewers and their fans. "We've never done it before," said Levox, "and we're obviously not very good at it."
