WEDDING MEMORIES

Jeff Goldbum has given a Toronto couple wedding photos they'll remember forever.

The Telegraph reports that the 61-year-old actor was a willing participant in a Jurassic Park-themed wedding photo currently going viral online.

How it happened: Goldblum was attending the nuptials of Jesse and Pamela Sargent in Huntsville, Ont., last weekend (his new fiancée, Emily Livingston, is a friend of the bride), when somebody suggested staging a bridal-party-being-chased-by-dinosaurs photograph, which itself became a popular meme last year.

Obviously, Goldblum's portrayal offussy mathematician Dr. Ian Malcolm in two entries of the Jurassic Park film franchise (Jurassic Park in 1993 and The Lost World: Jurassic Park in 1997) factored into the suggestion.

"It was the groom's idea," wedding photographer Adam Biesenthal told Buzzfeed. "He made the request after the ceremony and I simply set up the shot. We actually got the final image during the first take."

With the aid of digital trickery, the resulting photo shows Goldblum – wearing a cool sharkskin suit – and the bridal party fleeing an enormous Tyrannosaurus Rex.

In the past few days, the offbeat wedding picture has generated massive attention, courtesy of coverage in Vulture, People, MTV and other media outlets.

The photo is already featured prominently on Biesenthal's professional website and serves as wallpaper for his Twitter account.

And it's also worth noting that while most of the wedding guests appear to be cracking up in the photo, Goldblum appears dead serious and completely in character.

All told, we should probably be grateful nobody asked Goldblum to reenact a scene from The Fly.

IT'S OFFICIAL

George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin just moved one step closer to getting married. Earlier this week, the actor and the London barrister posted a legal notice declaring their intention to marry in Italy. Clooney and Alamuddin announced their engagement last spring but so far have not announced a date for the wedding. Posting the notice is a required legality for a British citizen (Alamuddin) with the intention of marrying abroad. The wedding, which is rumoured to take place next month, will be the second marriage for Clooney and the first for Alamuddin.

REACHING OUT

Nobody can say J.K. Rowling's heart isn't in the right place. The Harry Potter author recently sent a handwritten note – penned in the voice of Potter character Albus Dumbledore – to teen shooting survivor Cassidy Stay. In late July, a gunman killed Stay's parents and siblings in Houston, Texas. At a subsequent memorial event, the 15-year-old survivor paraphrased a quote taken from the movie adaptation of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, stating, "Happiness can be found even in darkest of times, if one remembers to turn on the light." Rowling sent the letter to Stay along with a wand and an acceptance letter and school supply list for Hogwarts Academy.

FOXY LADY

Megan Fox may sizzle as a sex symbol on-screen, but her own sex life is on hold. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles star recently discussed her current bedroom relations with husband Brian Austin Green on Entertainment Tonight. "Brian doesn't get any intimacy whatsoever," Fox told ET. "My [two-year-old] son Noah sleeps in bed with us, so there's really no way." Green also recently told E! News that she maintains a strict dietary regimen. "I cut out bread and all those sort of carbohydrates. No crackers, no pretzels, no chips. Nothing unhealthy."

STAGE ROOKIE

Larry David is headed to Broadway. The Seinfeld co-creator and Curb Your Enthusiasm star has written a play titled Fish in the Dark and will take on the lead role when the production opens on March 5, 2015, at New York's Shubert Theater. David admitted in a recent interview that stage acting will be a completely new experience for him. "I haven't been in a play since the eighth grade, when I did Charley's Aunt," said David. "I seem to remember wearing a dress. That's it. And I'm not even really an actor. But I'm sleeping at night, and I hope that continues."
