Who should talk to kids about sex? Schools or parents?
That question is at the centre of the Ontario government's controversial proposed sex education curriculum, which it abandoned last week after immediate objection from religious groups.
On Tuesday, the McGuinty government announced it is asking for parents' input for its rollout of a revised sex ed program next fall.
Was McGuinty right to backdown on the original curriculum? Or was he just ducking the ire of protective parents? Whose place is it to talk to our kids about subjects like homosexuality and anal sex?
