The 90-year-old fashion plate Iris Apfel has numerous trademarks. Her oversized mod glasses. Her armful of bangles. Her fur and feather accents. At the moment, though, it’s the outspoken icon’s makeup style that is in the spotlight. Recently, M.A.C. Cosmetics released a 20-piece, fowl-themed collection of bright nail and face products “inspired by a rare bird.” Included in the bold but wearable array are eyeshadows, nail lacquers and matte and lustrous lipsticks. Pair any of them with an exotic fabric and a chunky necklace and watch your own persona take flight.
