I've seen a lot of concealers containing brighteners out there. What does the brightener do and how does it help get rid of dark circles and blemishes?

Brightening concealers are wonderful, as they allow you to wear less product and achieve a brighter-looking complexion. They work by lightly covering darker areas and helping to reflect light, making any under-eye issues appear less noticeable. Be sure to apply to the darker areas (such as the inner corner) first and then spread from there.

When it comes to covering blemishes, however, brighteners will only draw attention to them by attracting light to the area. Stick to using a regular cover-up for those problem areas.
