The question: I bike to work every day and of course wear a helmet, but I wind up having 'helmet hair' every day so I just end up putting it in a pony tail. Is there a way I can get the indents out of my 'do once I arrive at the office? Are there other styles that would also work post-bike ride?

The answer: The ballerina bun or top bun is pretty trendy right now, but if you'd rather avoid the severity of the Black Swan look, you could try pin-curling your hair before popping your helmet on.

Once you arrive at the office, spray the pin curls with some dry shampoo, which will help with any humidity that may have accumulated under that helmet during the ride. Shake out the curls and you've got a nice alternative to the pony. My other suggestion:

Purchase a straightening iron and keep it at the office. You can take five minutes to iron out the kinks and, should an après-work invite for drinks come up, you'll have a handy tool to polish your look up.
