Are overalls really making a comeback? Add to ...

The question

I was at a store on the weekend and saw overalls. Are they really coming back?

The answer

Wherever you saw the overalls, they are certainly not dominating high fashion (though jumpsuits remain popular).

In any case, everything comes back eventually. One could even argue that nothing ever disappears.

And perhaps if enough gamine types get photographed wearing a pair of these – imagine them over a tank top with an oversized cardigan and chunky booties or printed sneakers – the look might end up being widely emulated, which would entice more brands to offer them. You can predict what would happen next, right? Overalls would be available all over.
