Parkas are everywhere, but have they actually become fashionable? If so, is it acceptable to wear one for an otherwise dressy night out?
The answer
There are now more and more places where you can find tacos. Does that mean that all tacos are gourmet? I think not.
On-trend tacos can be distinguished from the rest by the refinement of their preparation and the variety and quality of their ingredients. Likewise, the best parkas this winter tend to feature a stronger sense of design, which means a more stylized shape (either a slimmer or more exaggerated fit) and tweaked trimmings (edgy hardware or fun lining).
If you land yourself such a parka, it can indeed be worn on dressier occasions. I love the idea of a parka over sequins as much as a lobster taco. Anyone who objects has an outmoded send of style.
