Party photos of the week: ‘Suzanne Rogers Presents’ Zac Posen Add to ...

It’s always one of the most glamorous events of the year. For one night only, Toronto’s social scene gets a dose of international style stardom for Suzanne Rogers’ annual fashion show and fundraiser. This year, the philanthropist and queen bee socialite brought in Zac Posen for a black-tie dinner and a party inspired by Stilife nightclub, a hotspot in 1980s Toronto. Front row cool kid Leigh Lezark, from The Misshapes, headlined the party hour while Lauren Santo Domingo, contributing editor of Vogue Magazine, kicked off the evening. The evening’s presentation was the first time Zac Posen’s fall 2014 collection was seen in Canada. It wasn’t all for show, though. The super-luxe evening raised $800,000 for Boost Child Abuse Prevention and Intervention, a registered charity that works with children who have suffered abuse, and Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. parties@globeandmail.com
