on trend

What the flock! From the moment Rodarte designers Laura and Kate Mulleavy sent a shimmering, feather-focused collection down the runway for their last collection, it was only a matter of time before style setters started a downy revolution. From Fulton’s svelte umbrella marked with a flurry of feathers to the delicate duo of quills on Edie Parker’s covetable acrylic clutch, an abundance of fluff informs the season’s best pieces. A more subtle approach to the trend is a singular gilded piece such as Indigo’s chic brass objet. But some peacocks will favour the frenetic energy of Maison Simons’ multi-hued placemats, or the even more eye-catching sparkling motif on Tory Burch’s topper. Ready, set, strut.
