Party photos of the week: Top of the Pops at Harry Rosen Add to ...

In celebration of Father’s Day, Niagara winery Le Clos Jordanne partnered with luxury retailer Harry Rosen for a fashion show featuring some of the city’s most notable dads. Pairing wine with outfits – who knew? Harry Rosen fashion director Paul Smith narrated the runway presentation, which featured an eclectic mix of eight top pops: Robert Herjavec, Mohit Rajhans from CityNews, all-star Argonaut Adrion Smith, Andrew Richmond of La Carnita, Del Rollo of Constellation Brands, interior design expert Klaus Nienkamper, chef extraordinaire David Rocco, and The Globe’s own Gabe Gonda (who stole everyone’s heart by asking son Charlie to join him in the spotlight). The second floor of Harry Rosen’s Bloor Street store was transformed into a gentleman’s den complete with a MAN-icure station, shoe shine, and wine tasting stations set up in designer boutiques (a Chardonnay in Tom Ford? Yes, please!). It was in the event’s final minutes, though, that fashion fate intervened: Causing the flashiest of frenzies, Canada’s designer bros Dean and Dan Caten of Dsquared2 made a stylish surprise appearance.
