Malin Ackerman

Swedish-born, Toronto-raised actress Malin Akerman's Hollywood career is taking off with the news that she is set to replace Lindsay Lohan in the starring role in a movie about the life of 1970s porn star Linda Lovelace.

Akerman was recruited for the part of the late Deep Throat star Lovelace in the film, Inferno, which is due for release next year, after bad-girl actress Lohan's brushes with the law and rehab saw her dropped by the producers.

Recent breakthrough roles for Akerman have seen her starring as Silk Spectre in the comic book adaptation Watchmen and playing opposite Ben Stiller in the Farrelly Brothers' The Heartbreak Kid.

Akerman, who moved to Southern Ontario from Sweden at the age of two, got her first break at the age of 17, when she won the Ford Supermodel of Canada search.

Here, she reveals her perfect playlist of music that sets the right mood when she entertains at home in Los Angeles.
