wine review

From big producer San Pedro, best known for the budget Gato Negro line, this is a pleasing white that hits all the marks for a New World sauvignon blanc at a decent price. Lemon and grapefruit lead the show, supported by lively acidity and a hint of flintiness. Perfect as a dry, lemonade alternative for a warm day. Try it on its own or with grilled shellfish. Available in Ontario.
