This is a modern-style red blend from the Tuscan coast, made from cabernet sauvignon, montepulciano, sangiovese, alicante bouschet and marselan. Concentrated and beautifully structured, it shows succulent cherry and raspberry fruit underpinned by juicy acidity and substantial, fine-grained tannins. One for the cellar, it should be at its best in five to 12 years, though it would pair nicely now with rare steak. Available in Ontario.
