The label shows a cute cartoon of a young couple on a Vespa, and what I like best is that the woman’s driving. Hooray for upending gender stereotypes. Maybe this light white hopes to court the ladies-who-lunch crowd. It does, after all, have something in common with café-fashionable pinot grigio besides the Italian sensibility of the scooter. Namely: It’s lean, dry and tastes best in the sunshine. It’s also silky and shows nuances of lemon curd and mineral. Available in Ontario.
