The parade of great wines from the southern Rhône’s 2010 vintage continues. Big and velvety, this complex red oozes ripe berries, chocolate, licorice, lavender and cracked pepper, with fine-grained tannins and, as can be expected from 15.5-per-cent alcohol, a warm finish. For Châteauneuf, it’s a big bargain.
