It had to happen: a Tuscan winery capitalizing on the Italian Renaissance genius. This hails from a grower co-operative based in the same town of Vinci that spawned Leonardo. It's medium-bodied and bright, a blend of mainly sangiovese with a dollop of merlot, showing a classic dried-cherry core, good acid balance and soft tannins. Perfect for red-sauced pastas.
