Canada's great golfer Mike Weir, who founded this charitable brand in 2005, recently opened a hospitality centre in Niagara's Beamsville district. And he continues to turn out some fine wines, such as this full-bodied red. It achieved considerable ripeness in the warm summer of 2012, with hints of raisin and prune over fresh dark-skinned fruit and vanilla. Spicy backbone and moderate tannins provide structure.
