A blend of syrah, mourvèdre and grenache (matured in a combination of oak and cement vats), this medium-full-bodied red from southern France is juicy, with flavours of plum and berry accented by peppery spice, licorice and smoked meat. Gently sticky, dusty tannins provide structure. A good choice for roast lamb and braised red meats. Made from organically grown grapes. Available for $22.99 in B.C.
