There are two devils in the name, as Spanish speakers will gather from "diablo." Scary the wine is not, however. At this price, it's more like something sent from above. A classically modern Chilean blend, it features mostly syrah (at 65 per cent) with cabernet sauvignon and carménère. Full-bodied and luscious, the red displays characters of blackberry and plum jam assisted by dark chocolate, vanilla, mint and espresso. Available in Ontario at the above price, $14.99 in B.C. (on sale for $13.49 till Oct. 1), $17 in Saskatchewan, $14.99 in Manitoba, $15.79 in New Brunswick, $17.98 in Prince Edward Island (on sale for $16.48), $17.55 in Newfoundland (on sale for $15.55).
