Dark berries, plum jam, spice, white pepper and whiffs of charred oak and dry earth linger on the palate in this full-bodied, impressive red. Bright acidity and dusty, tight tannins provide very good structure. Fans of northern Rhône syrah would be impressed – especially by the price. Great for rich red-meat dishes.
