The next time you are doing laundry, why not try to get buns of steel? Multi-tasking is the order of the day: Before you pick up the baskets, do some squats. Start by standing in front of your laundry hamper.
Bend at your knees and hips and slowly sit your bum backward as if you are sitting in a chair. Hold at the bottom of the squat for two seconds. Imagine you are trying to push the floor away as you use your glutes, abdominal and leg muscles to return back to standing. Repeat five times. Then it’s time to start sorting and folding.
