Some (small) consolations in the obesity battle Add to ...

Two articles in the New York Times make for interesting reading.

One points out that American children are consuming fewer calories than they did a decade ago. It also mentions another encouraging sign: Adults are getting fewer of their calories from fast food.

But don’t get your hopes up that an end is in sight to the obesity epidemic.
