Quaker recalls Chewy Granola Bars Value Packs on peanut fears Add to ...

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Quaker Canada are warning people with peanut allergies not to consume certain Quaker brand Chewy Granola Bars Value Packs.

The affected Quaker brand Chewy Granola Bars Value Packs may have been mispacked with Quaker brand Dipps granola bars that contain peanuts.

The CFIA says the individual granola bars within the value packs are correctly labelled and declare peanuts, where present.

The affected product is the 364 gram Quaker brand Chewy Granola Bars Value Pack containing 14 bars, and Quaker is voluntarily recalling it from the marketplace.

The product was distributed nationally, but the CFIA says so far no illnesses have been associated with it.

The CFIA says people with peanut allergies may experience life-threatening reactions if they eat the affected product.

The affected product bears the UPC 0 55577 10742 3 and all lot codes are affected by this alert.
