Leslie Beck writes Globe Life's weekly Food for Thought column.

As one of Canada’s leading nutritionists, Ms. Beck has operated a thriving private practice in downtown Toronto for the past 20 years. As national director of nutrition at Body Science Centers, she oversees the development and delivery of all nutrition programs and works one-on-one with clients offering dietary advice, personalized meal plans and science-based recommendations on the use of nutritional supplements

Ms. Beck is recognized by the media as an authority on nutrition and food issues and is an experienced communicator in television, radio and print media. She writes a weekly column in The Globe and Mail and is a regular contributor to CTV News. Her nutrition advice can also be heard weekly on Montreal’s CJAD Morning Radio.

Ms. Beck is the best-selling author of nine books on health and nutrition, most recently Leslie Beck’s Healthy Kitchen (Penguin Canada 2012).
