How can you get fit?

"The excuses are legit: New moms really don't have time to exercise," writes Hayley Mick in Moms too time strapped to exercise.

"A study published recently in the journal Women and Health, co-authored by University of Victoria exercise psychologist Ryan Rhodes, shows that mothers of young children had to reduce their physical activity by 80 minutes a week on average."

But exercise during parenthood is possible. Certified personal trainer Andrea Page will take your questions Thursday at noon ET on how to fit exercise in to a busy schedule, as well as pre- and postnatal exercise queries and more general fitness questions (from both moms and dads).

Submit your question using the comment function on this story now or come back during the live hour to join the conversation.

Andrea Page is a certified personal trainer, sport strength specialist, childbirth trained educator and author. She is the founder of Fitmom, a DVD program as well as facility in Ontario, Saskatchewan and Alberta, that provides prenatal and postnatal fitness, yoga, personal training and birth services. Fitmom is designed to meet the needs of moms to be, new moms and veteran moms interested in health and wellness in the childbearing years. Very few people would guess that just eight years ago, this highly recognized individual was single mom living on welfare. Her climb out of despair and into becoming a nationally recognized expert in her field has inspired her motivational workshops, which will soon be released in the Mommy Motivator: How Motherhood Inspires Greatness audio book.
