Mr. Aliabadi was inspired by a trip to Canada's Arctic, where he was fascinated by the Inuit passtime of stacking stones into surprisingly tall structures. He revisited the idea for his entry into eVolo magazine's competition to design innovative ways to add density to urban housing.
