LISTING AGENT Christopher Bibby, Sutton Group-Associates Realty Inc.

The Action: Not far from upscale boutiques and bistros in Yorkville, Creed Lofts only has a few vacancies each year, so this one-bedroom-plus-den suite attracted about a dozen potential buyers in a short time.

What They Got: In 1998, a former fur warehouse was redeveloped into a boutique brick residence with 19 lofts, including this two-storey suite with a 1,350-square-foot plan.

Both levels are completely open with hardwood floors, from a main-floor living, dining and cooking area with an island to an upper den and sleeping area with a wood-burning fireplace, patio door and wall of windows to one side, and a walk-in closet and bathroom to the other side.

Upscale kitchen and laundry appliances, a locker and parking are included with the unit, which is charged $813 for monthly fees.

The Agent's Take: "It felt more like a home rather than a condominium divided over two levels," says agent Christopher Bibby.

"The terrace was about 300 square feet, so that was quite nice, and it overlooked the Annex, so it felt like you were in a backyard surrounded by trees and overlooked homes as opposed to a major street."

The loft also had unique finishing touches. "We had three skylights in the property, which is a feature you don't quite see too often, and a wood burning fireplace … which you don't often see in loft buildings in general," Mr. Bibby adds.
