LISTING AGENT Judith Adamick, Sutton Group – West Coast Realty

The Action: This detached house was toured by about 30 groups of realtors and buyers, including one who acted quickly to negotiate an offer.

What They Got: This classic

mid-century, post-and-beam-style residence looks like a bungalow on a 67-by-125-foot lot, but actually has 1,800 square feet of living space spread across three levels.

A carport provides shelter for a vehicle and the entrance into the main floor, where there is an open living and dining area with new walnut laminate floors, vaulted ceilings up to 15 feet high, floor-to-ceiling fireplace and sliding doors to a deck overlooking the front A set of stairs leads to the upper and lower levels across the rear. The former with three bedrooms, including one with access to the smallest of two bathrooms, and the latter with a recreation room and guest bedroom.

The Agent's Take: "It had southern backyard exposure, post-and-beam-character and it was small, but it was just the right size for a family," says agent Judith Adamick, who notes the last family resided there for 37 years.

"It was close to English Bluff, which is a pretty nice area of Tsawwassen, and it's a relatively quiet street."

The land also held great value in an area where some older homes are replaced with newer ones.

"It's a very good size lot with over 8,000 square feet," adds Ms. Adamick.
