The family of six had to live in rented space for a year while contruction progressed. 'That was a humbling experience for all of us,” Mr. Scoffield says.

The main room reflects the owners’ concept of a balanced house.
Ms. Warrington was surprised to get an offer to buy the house last week, even before the listing became active. She says the home is now sold, ‘over asking.’
