The Agent’s Take: “A lot of two-story homes are being purchased and maxed out with builders and families … building huge homes,” says agent Sheree Cerqua, who often sees prices rise well over $1-million to $1.6-million. “So there’s a hole in the market for homes around $900,000 to $1.2-million … that are spacious and in good condition.”

This house also offers good style, but more importantly, great substance. “They did a lot of the mechanical work, put in new windows, skylights, newer a/c and furnace, eaves and roof ,” adds Ms. Cerqua. “What was left to do would be mostly aesthetics, like if someone wanted to put in a new kitchen.”
