The Agent’s Take: “It’s a coveted location for a lot of people because it’s at the top of Withrow Park, right at the subway and half a block to all the shops and everything on the Danforth,” says agent Sandra Pate. “A detached two-bedroom [house] is not too common … but because it had a garage and because of its location, it was pretty popular.”
The interior design appealed mostly to professionals and couples, Ms. Pate notes. “It had been renovated some years ago and updated a little bit since then,” she says.
“Basically each bedroom had its own bath, which is good, and it had a high basement that was finished as well with a roughed-in kitchen in the walls and separate entrance, so it could’ve been rented out as a studio suite.”
