The Action: Because it’s close to the SkyTrain and in Vancouver’s most urban, trendy neighbourhood, this one-bedroom loft style unit sold within seven days. The 975-square-foot unit with rooftop deck and a panorama view of downtown and the mountains was viewed by 35 people, but it was the first person who viewed it who purchased it. The asking price was $700,000 and the unit sold for $699,000. That is $16,000 less than it sold for three years ago.

With heritage conversions, parking is not the norm.” And if you don’t drive, I’m sure there is somebody who wants to rent your parking stall. And the SkyTrain is maybe 100 yards from your front door.”
