Consult the Internet for instructions – you want to make sure you've picked the right tree branch and have the knots tied properly. Be the first to test it, too: Your kids will never play on it again if the rope snaps their first time.
Once it's good to go, take a seat in the shade and let the kids have at it. One last thing: Pick a tree that's close to home, because you're kids will want to go to the swing all the time. You did, too, remember?
