According to Feng Shui for Teens author DeAnna Radaj, kids can improve their studiousness and productivity through some simple energy-balancing adjustments to their bedrooms. Among them:
- Make sure that the “knowledge” area of the room is clutter-free and organized.
- Use the colour blue, which boosts clarity and enhances thought, in this area. If blue isn't in the colour scheme, introduce it through fresh flowers, picture frames or a blue area rug under the desk and chair.
- Install good lighting on or above desks. Dim lighting can make students drowsy and causes eyestrain.
