Just in time for New Year's: Introducing the hangover facial Add to ...

Just in time for Jan. 1, Fox News has uncovered Hollywood's "hottest new beauty trend" that will purportedly cure puffy-eyes and blotchy skin resulting from a night of excessive boozing: the hangover facial.

Los Angeles esthetician Deborah DePiano tells Fox News she came up with the nearly hour-long treatment to soothe the effects of too much revelry. For $120, she treats clients to aromatherapy, a facial massage, an exfoliating scrub and a hydrating mask. Then, she uses LED lights to target blotchiness and "plump up" fine lines.

"I had to come up with something that was very comforting and nurturing and even out the skin tones and take away the puffiness, and leave them with a nice even glow so they're ready for another night of partying," she says.

Guinea pig Sean Sweeney entered Ms. DePiano's office feeling "a little zombie-ish, Frankensteinish" and emerged "rosy and dewy," Fox News reports. Watch the video, and you be the judge.

While the hangover facial might not make you look as fresh as "a Backstreet Boy" like Mr. Sweeney claims, getting pampered certainly can help ease the pain.

What hangover cure will you use when you wake up New Year's Day?
