Listen, beyond the fact that you show no signs of perspiration (don't say you're one of those people who doesn't sweat!), we know you didn't go to your kickboxing class this afternoon. You were at Cinnabon. Weren't you? Weren't you?!

If you're one of those people who has no willpower, there might be another way to motivate yourself to meet your goals: the potential to be shamed in front of your entire social network.

Getupp, a new app for the iPhone, allows users to set goals and associated locations and, when the time comes to complete task X, it broadcasts to Facebook whether or not you fulfilled said goal. Oh, and don't try to fool it - it uses GPS to make sure you are where you say you are.

Missed your weekly visit to Grandma's? You should be ashamed of yourself. And you can bet all members of your extended family will chime in on that Getupp-posted broken commitment to make sure you feel truly guilty.

Getupp isn't the only app that will make up for your willpower deficiency. There's also Stickk.com, which requires users to pay a person or charity if he doesn't meet the goal he set. And as we reported last month, there are plenty of services out there to help the oft-distracted office drone/writer/executive focus on work instead of Twitter, Farmville or sports scores.

Do you think the potential to have your broken resolution broadcast to your friends list would motivate you to make it to your yoga class or study group?
