Fancy an order of Frings from Burger King? Or a Hypocrite burger from Fat Burger? Or maybe a McDonald's McKinley Mac?
Never heard of them?
That's because they're among the secret items that fast-food restaurants will prepare for you if you know they exist. The Lemondrop blog provides an entire list of off-menu items you might never have thought to order, including "Wet Fries" from Arby's (hot fries with cheese sauce), the "Red Tux Mocha" from Starbucks (a mix of white and dark chocolate mochas with raspberry syrup), and Wendy's "Barnyard" sandwich (a spicy chicken sandwich with ham, bacon and beef, layered with cheese).
"Frings" are actually a mix of fries and onion rings, a Hypocrite burger is a veggie burger with bacon, and the McKinley Mac is a Big Mac, but with the patties from a Quarter Pounder.
Other legendary off- menu items not listed here: the "Rodeo" burger from Burger King, a regular burger with onion rings and barbeque sauce inside; the Mc10:35, a DIY creation that involves sandwiching an Egg McMuffin inside of a McDouble; and the classic Arby's French Dip, which is rarely seen, but apparently can still be ordered.
