Prince Charles purchases a loaf of bread as he toured a farmer's market at the Brick Works in Toronto, Nov. 6, 2009.Kevin Van Paassen

The couple will celebrate part of Victoria Day in Toronto. If their itinerary was up to us, here's where they'd be wining and dining.

The festivities begin on Friday night at the Black Hoof, where the cocktails are crafted from house-made infusions, and the menu is bare-bones brilliant. Charles and Camilla might like the warm marrow, reminiscent of the bones offered at St. John restaurant in their hometown. Next, will it be the pork carnitas or the smoked sweetbreads? Vegetables will have to wait until tomorrow. 928 Dundas St. W., 416-551-8854; theblackhoof.com

Saturday morning, Charles and Camilla should put on their dungarees and head to the farmer's market at the Brick Works to sample their way through one of the liveliest scenes in town. A lot has changed since Charles opened the Brick Works Forum in 2009, so he'll want the full tour. 550 Bayview Ave.; 416- 596-7670; ebw.evergreen.ca

Now how about a little royal exercise? It's going to be a long weekend of eating, after all. The Don Valley ravines lead north from the Brick Works all the way to the beautiful Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Take a long, leisurely by stroll, and that evening head straight to the Drake, the self-proclaimed heart of the party, to eat, drink, listen to live music and people-watch the night away. 1150 Queen St. W.; 416-531-5042; thedrakehotel.ca

Sunday morning, make a pit stop at Sam James Coffee Bar and then point your royal chauffeur southwest for a street-food and wine-pairing party in Niagara when Food Truck Eats parks 16 food trucks at Peller Estates. Yum! First stop: 297 Harbord St.; 647-341-2572; samjamescoffeebar.com. Second stop: 290 John St. E., Niagara-on-the-Lake; 888-673-5537; ontariofoodtrucks.com .

That night, a heavy dinner would be out of the question, but maybe something light at the Order of Canada recipient Jamie Kennedy's new Niagara gig would fit the bill? Windows by Jamie Kennedy is at the Sheraton on the Falls Hotel. 5875 Falls Ave., Niagara Falls; 905-374-4445; windowsbyjamiekennedy.com

Before wrapping up the weekend, find time to squeeze in a stop in downtown Toronto, at King's Noodle, for a fortifying bowl of wonton soup. Bon voyage, your majesties! 296 Spadina Ave.; 416-598-1817
