Post-holiday holiday

From Wednesday's Globe and Mail

It's no secret Canadians love to head south during the winter – but not all weeks are equally popular. There tends to be a lull right after the Christmas holiday that lasts until early February. For the next two weeks, Nolitours and Transat Holidays are trying to spur early bookings for that period by offering savings of $150 per person on all hotels in Cuba on all departures between Jan. 5 and Feb. 10. Departures from Hamilton are particularly well-priced. Sample offers (before $215 taxes and fees) from Nolitours include one week at the all-inclusive Be Live Santa Lucia Cameleon Select for $639 per person from Toronto; the Blau Colonial Cayo Coco Cameleon Gold is available for $811 per person departing in January from Toronto – and $691 from Hamilton; the Gran Caribe Club Puntarana sells for $797 from Winnipeg, $967 from Saskatoon, $1,007 from Vancouver and $1,017 from Calgary. Transat Holidays offerings include the Melia Cayo Guillermo for $929 from Toronto, and $799 from Hamilton. For more information, go to nolitours.com or transatholidays.com
