The Westin Bayshore in Vancouver is celebrating one of its most reclusive guests with two special packages.
The Howard Hughes Penthouse Suite Package – at $799 – includes an in-room movie, in-room dining, an in-room spa treatment and a late check out. There's also the Howard Hughes Room Package, which includes a standard guest room with a harbour view, a $50 dining credit and an in-room movie. Forty years ago, Mr. Hughes checked into the penthouse at the hotel (then known as the Bayshore Inn) and famously didn't leave his suite for six months. These deals, however, feature a late 2 p.m. checkout.
