The catch: The Royal Summer package requires a minimum stay of four nights, now through Nov. 17. The catch: You have to book a suite for three nights minimum at $520 (U.S.) a night, now through Dec. 19. Why it's worth it: Meals are included at Hacienda Petac, located on 250 acres in an ecological reserve just outside the city of Mérida, Yucatan. The catch: A doubling of the existing Children's Fitness Tax Credit from $500 to $1,000 is still to be enacted and a new $500 Fitness Tax Credit for adults has been promised - but only after the federal budget is balanced, and that's several years away.

Why it's worth it: The package includes: a three-bedroom chalet, fat-reduced meals, guided hikes, exercise classes, two hours of horseback rides, guided canoeing or mountain biking, fitness and nutrition consultation and a fat-burning workshop. The cost for a family of four is $3,361.
