Endless Summer sale

The buy: JW Marriott, Autograph Collection Hotels, Renaissance, Marriott Resorts and Gaylord Hotels are holding an Endless Summer sale.

Why it’s worth it: The sale is available at 14 properties in Florida and some 20 others in California, Hawaii, Arizona and Las Vegas. The resort credit can be applied to a variety of amenities, including dining, spa services, golf tee times and on-property retail stores.

Book it: Visit EndlessSummerSpecial.com and enter the promotional code ZX0.

London in the off-season

The buy: Back for the 14th year is one of the best-priced off-season packages to London from DHTour.

The savings: Priced at $1,048, about the cost of an average return air ticket, it’s like getting all the ground components for nothing.

The catch: It has just five departures (Nov. 6, 13, 27, Feb. 19, 26) and, thanks to Britain’s high Air Passenger Duty, taxes and fees are $663.

Why it’s worth it: In addition to return air with British Airway from Toronto, the package includes return airport/hotel transfers, six nights at the Tavistock Hotel with breakfast, sightseeing tour with guide on day of arrival, seven-day London Visitor’s Travel Card with unlimited travel on London’s buses and underground (zones 1 and 2), one West End show (you can choose from up to 10), one three-course dinner at a choice of more than 20 restaurants and all taxes and service charges.

Book it: Visit dhgrouptours.com or call 1-888-597-3519.

Downtown Disney value rates

The buy: End of Summer Value Rates are being offered by the seven Downtown Disney Resort Area Hotels.

The savings: About 35 to 40 per cent.

The catch: They are available from Aug. 1 to Sept. 30 only.

Why it’s worth it: In addition to their ideal location – an easy walk to the shopping, dining and entertainment venues at the Downtown Disney Area – these hotels also provide free shuttle transportation every 30 minutes to all four Walt Disney World theme parks, two water parks and Downtown Disney. Rates range from a low of $75 a room, per night at the Best Western Lake Buena Vista Resort Hotel to a high of $109 a suite, per night at DoubleTree Suites by Hilton.

Book it: Visit downtowndisneyhotels.com or tinyurl.com/kqnbvkd.

Members get triple benefits

The buy: Starwood Preferred Guest, the company’s loyalty scheme, is offering a Triple Benefits program that lets members receive three benefits whenever they drink or dine at more than 650 restaurants and bars in Starwood Hotels properties around the world.

The savings: Each venue offers a range of benefits.

The catch: The program ends Sept. 30.

Why it’s worth it: Benefits include three of the following: a 10-to-30-per-cent discount, a free meal for kids under six, 50 per cent off a meal for a child under 12, bonus Starpoints when dining in a group, 15 per cent off a spa treatment or a complimentary glass of wine or cheese platter.
