Camera Club is The Globe and Mail's online group for photography enthusiasts. Each week, we present an assignment and ask readers to send their photos. Here are six steps to submitting your photos to our Flickr group.

Step 1: Go to flickr.com. If you have an account, log in and skip to step 5. Otherwise, click the sign up button.

Step 2: You can log in using an existing Yahoo! account, your Google or your Facebook account. If you're using Google of Facebook, the sign up process takes only seconds.

Step 3: Once logged in, upload your photos by clicking the “upload” button.

Step 4: Click “add” to upload new photos to your collection. You can also tag and caption your photos, but you don’t need to add anything special to submit to Camera Club.

Step 5: Join the Globe’s reader submission group by visiting http://www.flickr.com/groups/globesubmissions/. Once there, click “join this group” and accept the terms and conditions. Regardless of the assignment you're submitting for, you'll add your photo to the general group. Later, a Globe editor manually tags your photo to match the theme and it's added to the gallery.

Step 6: Once logged in, click the upload button and select your photos. You can submit a maximum of three per day. You submit your photos to the general group regardless of the assignment. A Globe editor will approve your submission and add the tags for the appropriate assignment, at which point it will appear on globeandmail.com. Still have questions?
