The News Photographers Association of Canada (NPAC) held its annual conference and National Pictures of the Year contest in Ottawa.The Globe and Mail, represented by both staff a freelance photographers, did very well at NPAC's National Pictures of the Year competition. The strong results are a testament to the Globe's photography and to the hard work of the members of the visuals department.
