Photo tip for May 2: This image is filled with layering and that's what makes it interesting. The lines of the bricks going from side to side in the frame move the readers eye through the image as the woman breaks up the patterns. Try using objects in the foreground to add a second element to your images.

Photo tip for May 1: Framing the subject though the car window brings the readers eye straight to the people in the frame. Framing is a great way to bring attention to a particular part of the image. Try shooting with and without a frame and see how it affects the picture.

Photo tip for April 30: The light shines right through these tulip petals adding some dramatic colour to what would have been a silhouette. Adding colour to an ordinary silhouette is a great way to liven up an image.

Photo tip for April 27: The colorful clothing on the dark background makes the subject pop right out off the image. Try to mix dark scenes with well-lit subjects.
