Many parts of South Asia is alive with colour this week for the celebration of Holi, also known as "the festival of colours". The holiday, celebrated mainly in India and Nepal, marks the beginning of spring and the triumph of good over evil, with people chasing each other and playfully splashing colourful paint, powder and water on one another.
